My team and I are looking for a passionate and professional developer to join our team as a "MemberFix Tech".
This is a junior position and the biggest requirement is a desire to learn and grow.
Must have general WordPress experience. WordPress DEVELOPMENT experience is helpful but NOT required.
NOTE: This is not a "PSD to WP" position, if you are ready for challenges then go ahead and read below 😉
# JOB DESCRIPTION #
You will deal with all kinds of different WordPress and web-pages development tasks (from fixing the incorrect position of some elements on the page to custom coding scripts to incorporate certain payments gateway and make it work with required membership plugin) so general expertise around WordPress, web development, web design and various web technology is required for this position.
You will also have the opportunity to work with a lot of popular 3rd party apps like ClickFunnels, ThriveCart, SamCart, Zapier, etc., so if you have expertise with these other systems it's a bonus.
As our name suggests, we work mainly with WordPress membership sites, so knowledge in this area is required.
Design skills and/or experience working with page builders like Elementor, Divi, Thrive, etc., are preferred but not required.
NOTE: you do not necessarily have to have prior experience with any of these apps as long as you can learn quickly and communicate clearly. A lot of this job is "research & figure it out as you go". But you have to be confident how and where to search for, and have an ability to apply your findings to resolve the issue!
The majority of our team is self-taught in many areas, so we welcome you if you're good at figuring things out for yourself and learning on your own.
2. Articles – Every MemberFix Team member writes 1 simple article per month for our tech-focused blog.
Don't freak out…this is incredibly easy and should not deter you if you can write numbered steps! 🙂
These are very simple, step by step "how-to" articles that come directly from a real issue you encounter while helping a customer. Your only responsibility for an article is to provide the numbered steps and screenshots of a task you solved for a customer. Our editorial team will turn it into an actual article. 🙂
Check the MemberFix.rocks blog (https://memberfix.rocks/blog) for a few example articles that are written by our team and edited by our founder. As you can see, they're very simple and nothing to afraid of!
For each article, you will receive a content brief, exact instructions and a deadline. The best part is you can pick most of your articles as you encounter interesting issues that you'd like to document!
This gives you the opportunity to improve your writing, improve your English, receive direction and mentorship from a native English speaker and the founder of the company, and to be featured as an author on the leading authority site in the membership site space.
The importance of content in our business cannot be overstated. We acquire most of our customers through content, generate affiliate commissions that help defray company expenses through content and build our brand and authority with content. It's our main marketing strategy!
# HOURS & SCHEDULE #
This is a fulltime position (6h/d, 5d/w)
If our initial trial period together is successful, you will receive an offer to join our team on a full-time basis.
You should be able to dedicate this time in EET (GMT+2) Zone where most of our team is located.
Scheduling is being done organically between team members for the upcoming month. Our company provides service 7 days per week, so taking days off on the weekends gets rotated among team members for fairness.
# COMPENSATION #
Pay for this position is a negotiable based on experience, performance and other factors. Our team members all have ample advancement opportunities both in terms of their role and their pay. We are a startup, so the team members who create value and prove their worth always rise to the top!
All team members receive 19 paid days off per year, which goes up by 1 day per year of employment. 🙂
# TRAINING #
Training for the way we work is provided in the form of videos and documents (SOPs, or, Standard Operating Procedures). The entire team also contributes to training new hires on various small details around customer interaction, logging, etc.
