Overview: our i deal candidate will be responsible f or handling (either directly or i ndirectly) i mplementation and
management of i tems relating t o t ech, websites, and t hird-party systems necessary t o make our business run
smoothly. We need someone with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as someone with a strong
background i n web-based software and development.
Skills and Qualifications Required
– Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree i n computer science and/or software engineering
– Strong problem solving and communication skills
– Strong organizational and analytical skills
– Strong understanding of web-based server architecture and platforms, i ncluding Nginx web server /
Virtualmin / Webmin
– Proficiency i n designing, building, t esting, and deploying web-based software
– Proficiency i n web-based application security and maintenance
– Proficiency i n object-oriented programming
– Proficiency i n f ront-end development l anguages l ike HTML, Javascript/jQuery, CSS
– Proficiency i n back-end development l anguages and platforms l ike PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, CRON
– Proficiency i n application environments i ncluding CodeIgniter 3+ & WordPress
– Proficiency i n custom wordpress plugin development and t heme development
– Excellent knowledge of software development l ife cycles, f rom planning t hrough deployment and ongoing
maintenance
– Ability t o l earn quickly and work i ndependently as well as part of a t eam
– Ability t o coordinate with and manage Junior developers
– Ability t o collect f eedback and i mprove existing web-based applications
– Ability t o f ind, t est, and f ix bugs and defects across websites and web applications
– Familiarity with graphic design software l ike Adobe Photoshop, GIMP
– Familiar with f low charts, organizational systems
– Strong customer service and communication skills
– Strong attention t o detail
– Must value continued education
Experience Required
– 5+ years experience as f ull stack developer, particularly i n a PHP environment
– 5+ years SQL database design and management
– 5+ years experience writing code i nvolving PHP, HTML, Javascript/jQuery, CSS
– 5+ years experience with custom WordPress t heme and plugin development, debugging, and optimization
– 5+ years experience with CodeIgniter 3+ platform, maintenance, and optimization
– Experience with cPanel/Webmin/Virtualmin f or back end server management
– Experience setting up and managing web servers (including but not l imited t o Nginx and Apache)
– Experience with t hird-party systems i ncluding (but not l imited t o): CRM, Payment Processors/Gateways,
Automation t ools (ex: Zapier), JotForm, Email Servers, APIs
Duties
Operational, t echnological and strategic i nitiatives as assigned by t he CEO i ncluding (but not l imited t o)
the f ollowing:
– “Full-stack” web developer (with f ocus on php/CodeIgniter/Wordpress)
– Build/maintain/improve t he HealthSapiens Telehealth Platform
– Build/maintain/improve t he HealthSapiens Websites, Portals, WordPress back ends, WordPress plugins
– Build/maintain/improve t he i nternal HealthSapiens Admin portal
– Manage development of t echnology stacks (web servers, custom web applications and web portals)
– Assist with web server maintenance
– Hire/Manage/Coordinate with: contractors/subcontractors/freelancers/service providers, as needed
– Miscellaneous software/spreadsheet development, as needed
– Help manage/maintain i ssues t hat need t o be addressed regarding t ech + customer service
– Research and assist with t ech-related questions, as needed
– Management of payment gateways, settings, users
– Management of t hird-party systems & settings (CRM, Google Analytics, Zapier, Calendly, etc)
– Management of passwords and secure l ogins f or systems
– Light graphic design assistance, as needed
– Light copywriting/editing, as needed
– Light video editing & conversion
– Email content writing/editing/scheduling, as needed
– Preparation of documentation, checklists, and project-related notes
– Manage/Coordinate with affiliates and resellers
– Manage affiliates, affiliate program, affiliate t racking, etc
– Creating/managing affiliate l anding pages
– Setup/maintenance of email accounts f or t eam
