We need a website built that will show deals and product reviews. Whilst there is a high level description below, i am after someone who can build a great website as opposed to provide the bare minimum. Your expertise and input to make this a collaborative delivery is required.
The site will do 2 things:
1) Provide product reviews with affiliate linking
2) Provide a deals section where best offers on the web can be accessed.
1) Product Review section:
Amongst other things it should provide the following:
– Display product review summary and full product reviews…. bit like photo below
– Easy to navigate menu system so users can look for specific reviews (Ie toasters through menu system and through search)
– SEO optimised
– Have a simple to use content management suite where content can be uploaded via spreadsheet in bulk…. not 1 by 1 entry.
– Affiliate linking capable
– Ability to pull pricing real time from websites such as amazon and John Lewis, etc
– etc
2) Deals Section:
– Weekly and monthly special offers posted in this section… initially by site owner, later by members
– This will eventually need to be changed to also include daily and real time.
– Easy to read special offers with category and other information to be provided during design phase
3) Other
– Website must be very easy to navigate and aesthetically beautiful.
– Members section with logins to read exclusive content, post deals, have communication, newsletter lists, etc
– Mobile, PC, tablet optimised
– Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc optimised.
– Newsletter opt in
– Social media linked
– Other to be discussed during planning
– SEO
Please note:
– Support will be required post go live to iron out any issues
– Payment will staggered. Initial amount 50% made once website is fully tested and up and running… Remaining 50% 2 months after go live to iron out any issues….. Unfortunately we have previously had some developers dump bad websites and disappear after payment, so want to avoid this.
– No access will be given to our provider (Ionos) so will require you to send us the site with easy instructions on how to upload.
