Hello
I’m a DJ with already a great site and looking for someone experienced and creative to continue developing and maintaining it.
Tasks include:
– Updating site regularly, uploading weekly flyers for my gigs and radio shows with images, text, tags, links
– Uploading radio show audio and Tracklists to the site and updating show details to spreadsheet
– Monitoring google indexing, analytics and software, plugin and any other updates to ensure good health of the site and consistent uptime
– Monitor and address any issues promptly
– Make regular backups
– Ensure site looks good and functions fully across desktop and mobile devices
Importantly I am looking for someone who can also suggest and initiate –
– ways to continually improve SEO
– Ideas to align with current music industry trends – be that in the backend end (functionality, content, offering) as well as in the site design, features, and style
– Implement new monetisation features such as affiliate links
– Look into other music/dj sites for features, content and monetisation suggestions
Ny site needs to stay looking fresh, with everything functioning correctly, and new shows and gigs info is updated promptly so everything is up-to-date, and current.
Therefore I need someone conscientious, efficient and on the ball; able to perform repeat tasks with minimum supervision (once you get into the role), and monitor the standard of your own work and everything published so it all looks correct on different devices and doesn’t have errors
Other tasks may come up including setting up live streams to shows.
You will also be welcome and encouraged to share ideas to make the site even better.
This is an ongoing position so someone who is also friendly and personable is necessary to enjoy working together. I am quite flexible with which days or hours are worked, as long as the tasks are completed to a high standard and on a prompt basis.
